The waved screen lamp is inspired by the unique ceiling structure inside the Thirty-six Mandarin Duck Pavilion in the Humble Administrator’s Garden - The He Jing Xuan.
The ceiling of the frame structure that integrates the wisdom of the ancients is one of the highlights in the garden viewing. The work intercepts and enlarges the representative pavilion as the creative unit. It is the creative intention of this work to invite such a relatively hidden but discovered magnificent work to come down and flow into the audiences’ eyes.
Secondly, it has both concealing and illuminating properties, which is the contemporary artistic expression of this work. The ancient garden space is covered everywhere, but it is open everywhere. The generalization of such a spatial phenomenon is the conceptual work of art furniture developed and produced by “Fán Yuàn” after in-depth thinking on the spatial level.
